Big Sean has delayed the release of his new album Better Me Than You.
The Detroit rapper’s new album was originally scheduled to be released on Friday, August 9, as he announced last month, but it looks like we’ll have to wait a little longer.
One fan asked Sean why he mentioned the album being released “soon” in his latest Instagram post instead of mentioning the exact date of this Friday. “Why are you talking about the album soon as if it won’t be released on the 9th?” In response, Big Sean wrote back: “I’m going to have to push it back a little. The music is done, but it’s just organizing listening events, performances, etc.”
Sean hasn’t revealed a new date yet, but it certainly won’t be on the 9th. He recently shared a new song called “On Up” and a music video shot with his family.
