As BG and Turk’s feud intensifies, Gizzle claims we won’t miss Turk if he’s left out of the Hot Boys reunion.
BG throws shade at Turks while talking about potential Hot Boys reunion
BG is back on the outside after recently receiving a positive ruling in his ongoing legal battle. On Tuesday (July 9), the No Rap Cap podcast aired its latest episode featuring the New Orleans rapper. During the podcast, Gizzle was asked about the recently announced Hot Boys reunion and whether it would be an actual reunion without Turk, who apparently won’t be involved.
“If you try to do a reunion without Weezy, it’s not going to work,” BG says at the 21:27 mark of the interview below. “If you try to do a reunion without Juvie, it’s not going to work. If you try to do a reunion without me, it’s not going to work. But come on, man. Like Michelle black people like michelle [Willliams] Or the LeToya Luckett of the group, man,” he added, mentioning the Destiny’s Child member by name.
“If Musaf Kim Beyoncé and Musaf Kim Kelly [Rowland] Michelle wasn’t there when the Destiny’s Child reunion was held, and no one would miss her that much. That’s it,” he added.

BG and Turk trading
Since his release from prison in 2012, Turk appears to have had on-and-off feuds with his former bandmates, recently accusing them of turning their backs on him. BG’s recent statement follows a mini-reunion with Birdman, Juvenile and Mannie Fresh at the 2024 Essence Music Festival in New Orleans. Wayne is also on the list, but performs solo.
After the show, BG revealed the reason why Turk didn’t attend the show in an Instagram Live video.
“There’s only one woman in this asshole,” BG said on Instagram Live, seemingly addressing Turk’s absence. “He brought this on himself. Ni** did a bunch of shit and can’t take it back. He has to blame himself for not being here. I know a lot of people are going to be like, ‘Oh, well, that’s it, hoohoo. Phew. They know what he did last summer, I’ll leave it at that.
Turk responded to the video with a post of his own.
“You villains want to get this stuff together because you screwed up,” Turk snapped in the video shared on social media. “I didn’t screw up. I’m blessed and highly favored by God. Y’all got me fucked up and to clear this record I’m going to say “f**ka Hot Boys” tour, n**a, I won’t tolerate disrespect, n**a, I don’t know who. It’s n**a, man. I’ll run together.
Juvenile confirmed back in May that a Hot Boy reunion album was in the works. Lil Wayne seemed genuinely surprised when asked about the project in June, but said he’d love to be a part of it. The band, originally composed of Wayne, Juvie, Turk and BG, released three albums but has not released any projects since 2003’s Let ‘Em Burn.
