Beyoncé has officially endorsed Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris for President of the United States of America.
The singer joined pal Kelly Rowland to show her support for Vice President Harris at a rally in her hometown of Houston on Friday (October 25). Texas is known for its strict abortion laws.
“We are on the edge of profound change,” Beyoncé told an excited audience. “Your vote is one of the most powerful tools we have and we need you.”
“Our moment is now,” said the 32-time Grammy Award winner. “It’s time for America to sing a new song – one that began 248 years ago.
Furthermore, she emphasized that she is “a mother who cares deeply about the world, my children, and all our children.”
“Imagine our daughters growing up seeing no ceiling, no limits to what’s possible,” she continued.
Harris, a longtime fan of Bey’s, attended Bey’s “Freedom” event as she had at previous rallies. Beyoncé introduces the Vice President. “Ladies and gentlemen, please give a warm Texas welcome to the next president of the United States, Vice President Kamala Harris,” she cheered to the audience.
The fact that Harris attended Beyoncé’s concerts while she was vice president is well known among the “Beyhive” and rally attendees.
