Get ready to celebrate Black excellence in music, film, sports and more at the highly-anticipated 2024 BET Awards, airing Sunday, June 30 at 8pm ET. The star-studded event promises exciting performances and celebrates the brightest black talent in Hollywood.

One of the most anticipated categories is Best Male Hip-Hop Artist, with an impressive list of nominees such as 21 Savage, Burna Boy, Drake, Future, Gunna, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar and Lil Wayne. With each artist bringing their unique style and creativity to the forefront, this year’s competition promises to be exciting.

Don’t miss this exciting evening as we pay tribute to the pinnacle of music and culture. Be sure to check out BET Experience 2024 Presented by Walmart, which returns after nearly five years. Over the next week, Los Angeles will transform into a center of cultural energy and creativity. For BET Experience tickets available at Walmart, click here.

Drake

Drake continues to dominate the charts and captivate audiences. This year, the “God’s Plan” host leads the 2024 BET Awards with seven nominations.

21 barbarian

21 Savage’s journey from the streets of Atlanta to becoming a chart-topping rapper is amazing. This year, the “Rockstar” rapper has four nominations at the 2024 BET Awards, including “Best Album” for Usher’s “Good Good,” featuring Summer Walker ” and “Best Collaboration” nomination.

future

Future remains a force to be reckoned with in the hip-hop world. Last March, the Atlanta native released his highly anticipated collaborative album We Don’t Trust You with Metro Boomin. The project features the now-infamous “Like That Dat” record with fellow nominee Kendrick Lamar.

Guna

The past few years have been tough for Atlanta rapper Gunna, who found himself in legal trouble just months after releasing his third studio album, DS4Ever. Since his release from prison, the “Bread and Butter” rapper has released two more projects, including his fifth studio album “One of Wun.”

J. Cole

Known for his introspective lyricism and socially conscious themes, J. Cole is known as one of the most thoughtful and skilled lyricists in hip-hop.

Kendrick Lamar

Nominee Kendrick Lamar continues to push the boundaries of hip-hop with his innovative storytelling and thought-provoking content.

Lil Wayne

Wayne is a true veteran of the sport. The New Orleans native’s career spanned decades and produced a string of hits, and his impact on hip-hop is undeniable.

Tune in to the 2024 BET Awards on Sunday, June 30 at 8pm ET/PT on BET.
