Benzino slammed after comparing with Drake in a viral post Tuesday (July 1), which had a shirtless photo side by side accusing the blog of using his image.
“Next time you post a photo I compared me to @Drake, make sure you don’t use Photoshops on the internet,” he wrote on social media. “I can use a bunch of painted gym photos here. Note that I’m going to be 60 in 2 weeks, so make sense for you.”

The post, which was posted after Drake showed off a well-defined ABS after uploading a shirtless selfie to Instagram, soon came under scrutiny from online users. Some accused the Toronto rapper of surgery to enhance ABS, while others joked that they were similar to Benzino’s physique.
Comparing it to the previous Source Magazine Publisher, who often shares his fitness progress and gym habits on social media.
Benzino has always been candid about his dedication to staying healthy and active. In a 2024 interview, he opened his way back to the gym after a six-month break.
“I’ve been going to the gym like I used to be,” he said. “It feels great. There’s nothing these young people doing things I can’t do, and it feels good alone.”
Benzino also believes that hip-hop culture helps him stay young mentally and physically.
“Hip-hop really keeps us young,” he said. “Without hip-hop, we might be much bigger than we portrayed.”
