After being accused of favoring Drake over the West Coast MC, Ben Baller has changed his tune when it comes to previous criticism of Kendrick Lamar’s surprise GNX album.
The famed celebrity jeweler and cultural commentator didn’t hold back in a fiery segment on his latest podcast, where he addressed the backlash he faced after admitting to skipping every song on GNX.

Critics accused him of bias due to his long-standing relationship with Drake, one of his high-profile clients, but Burrough came with the receipts and the vitriol.
“I think people make me angry and say, you know, I hate this guy,” Ben Baller began. “I said I skipped every song. I didn’t really like it, right? I liked ‘Fight’.” There are a few things here and there.
Bale refuted claims that he is a “Drake d#ck rider,” explaining that he has a deep connection with Top Dawg Entertainment’s (TDE) Kendrick Lamar and Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith.
“I’ve known Kendrick for 20 years. I’ve known Top, m############ TDE for 20 years,” he emphasized. “I have two T’s in my motorcycle gang with me. We are the same g###### motorcycle gang. Two T’s are Kendrick’s right-hand men and Top’s right-hand men.
He stressed that their relationship was strong, saying: “We’re both cool. We’re good.
However, Burrough had sharp words for those who jumped to conclusions about his remarks. “You say s##t and people say stupid things like, ‘Fuck you, GNX.’ You have no fucking idea about my relationship with Kendrick,” he declared.

The connection between Burrough and Lamar is undeniably deep, as is his connection to TDE. ScHoolboy Q laughed with Baller during a podcast interview earlier this year, talking about how he and his colleagues planned to rob the jewelry designer more than a decade ago when he was still a budding rapper.
Earlier this summer, Bale revealed that he designed the custom frozen cross chain that Lamar wore during a Juneteenth concert, where he purchased 2Pac’s ring at auction and wore it with German Drake’s ring to torture Drake.
“Los Angeles is crazy tonight,” he tweeted. “And Dort had my ice hanging around his neck all night. The $600,000 crossover shut it down. There’s no one better than him and he knows who to call.
It’s also worth noting that Burrough also has an extremely close relationship with Drake, who has been a client for more than a decade. In a 2011 tweet, he shared a photo of Drake rocking two pieces he made for the Toronto rap star, while also mocking Drizzy haters in the process.
“My at home @champagnepapi wearing a polo shirt, moncler vest, my watch and Cali chain hates you,” he wrote in the caption of the post.
