Beanie Sigel and Pizza in Philadelphia are what’s going on. Broad Street Bullying is a recurring person we’ve seen. Now, one of the best ever was putting his muscles in a brand new business. Bean had dipped his toes into the food game before that popular food truck, but now he is putting things on a notch.
Next month, he and his partners will launch Santucci’s original Square Pizza, an Italian-style restaurant that opens in the University Town. No, it’s more than just a popular corner. We are talking about the complete setup of the cutting-edge pizza franchise, as well as the facilities that include the right bar. The interior is still under construction, but as far as I can tell, it is shaping it as a nice addition to the community.
Nowadays, beans have never been shy to diversify. We’ve seen rappers go from microphone to tycoons, but Siegel slipping into Italian food alley is wild behavior. Most people would put soul food, cheese steak or something in his driveway, but he was going to be mainstream. To me, this is a genius. Pizza and wine are anti-recession. Everyone has pizza and we can say beans are now getting all the bars. I think there will be more products, but I will give you more information later.
The bigger problem is that this risk bean is actually real. We’ll yell “Bean!” when he walks into Santucci? Will we see him greeting clients like Roc Night? Either way, this move is the main thing…just like Figgas. It’s great to see him evolve into a businessman who wraps his hands around a non-rap bag.
