Bia shot down Cardi B’s latest lyrical attack in a Hot 97 interview, telling the Bronx rapper to “go enjoy your pregnancy,” and turning the focus to her debut album BIANCA , which will be released on October 10.
Bia responds to Cardi B’s “Pretty & Petty” verse
During a sit-down with Nessa, Bea discussed Cardi’s poignant lyrics in her song “Pretty & Petty,” off her 2024 album Am I the Drama? This reignited their long-standing dispute. Bea didn’t mince words.
“Girl, go enjoy your pregnancy,” she said. “I don’t want to piss you off again or say something that’s going to hurt your feelings and make me look like a bad person because I’m talking about someone with a baby. Like, no, that’s not my energy, you know? I don’t want that to come back to me. My mother didn’t raise me dragging a pregnant woman around.”
A dispute over tweets
Tensions between the two artists date back to 2023, when Bia liked a tweet suggesting Cardi had copied her creative style. What was once a mutual admiration soon disintegrated.
“It started with a phone call, she called me screaming 15 times in a row. So that respect has been thrown out the window,” Bea said. “Shouting out because I liked a tweet about the similarities between ideas. You bully people because of how they feel or the ideas you stole. You can’t bully everyone you know and I say what’s going on is real.”
Cardi has since fought back through music, including a verse on the “Wanna Be” remix and most recently, “Pretty & Petty,” in which she took aim at Bea’s appearance and career.

Bea says she’s done watching the show
Bia responded with her own diss song “Sue Me,” but said she wasn’t interested in continuing the controversy.
“I’m glad she gets it. I’m glad she feels like she can get away from it,” Bea said. “But, but overall, like really, I knew it was coming. Because like, this is rap, I’m competitive. So it’s like, I don’t like you, you don’t like me, but you don’t like me, I don’t like you. It’s like something we know, we know what the reasons are and why this is happening. So I just, I like, it’s part of the game. I’m not going to keep going back and forth with you and the writers, that’s a year later.”
Cardi claimed her reaction was triggered by Bea mentioning her children, but Bea refuted that claim.
“I didn’t talk about her kids. I didn’t talk negatively about her kids,” she said. “I said negative things about her, but I used their names because that’s rap. It was a pun. It was a metaphor. Even if those weren’t her kids’ names, the bar still stood. So, OK, noticed. That’s the only part I saw. But we see people talking about other people’s kids online all week long. That’s not the case.”
“BIANCA” will be removed from the shelves on October 10
Rather than dwell on the feud, Bea is focusing on her first full-length album, BIANCA, which she calls her most personal work. The 16-track project includes Key Glock’s “DADE,” from the Madden NFL 26 soundtrack, and Young Miko’s “Birthday Behavior.” Another song, “WE ON GO”, was used during the WNBA playoffs and appears in NBA 2K26.
“This album is really my best part,” Bea said. “It’s from the heart and made with the people I love.”
“BIANCA” follows three EPs: “Nice Girls Finish Last: Cuidado” (2018), “For certain” (2020) and “Really Her” (2023). She told Nessa that the album represents her evolution as an artist.
Bea says the problem is bigger than Cardi
While Cardi B’s feud has made headlines, Bea said it touches on a larger issue in the music industry.
“You have to understand that this happens to artists every day,” she said. “It’s not even about her. The problem is, smaller artists or artists that don’t have as big of a platform, their ideas get reworked by bigger artists. Instead of those bigger artists being like, ‘Oh, yeah, I did rework that idea’ or ‘Yeah, oh, I didn’t know we stole that idea.'” Because it’s happened so many times. It’s not just me. I can find five songs she sang. So it’s like, let’s face it. For me, this question is a creative one. “
