Band member Kevo shared the worst news with fans – his 15-year-old son Kevian has been killed – and asked for their help.
“Rip Kevian,” the Chicago rapper tweeted on Sunday (March 31) and shared several Instagram Stories that made it clear he was referring to his son.
Cavou then shared a caption saying the teen had been “shot to death” and explained that he was having a hard time contacting his son’s mother.
He also appealed to the public to provide information, suggesting there would be rewards for providing information.
“Anyone in Kalamazoo who now knows about my son’s death please DM me,” he wrote, along with a bag of money emoji.

HipHopDX has reached out to the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety for more information but has not received a response as of this writing.
Bandman Kevo told The Shade Room that he had heard, in the outlet’s words, “mixed reports” about the incident and was “not sure what exactly happened.”
HipHopDX expresses its condolences to Bandman Kevo and his family and friends.
Kevo’s latest creative endeavor is setting up a school dedicated to teaching people about scammers – a world the rapper knows firsthand, having pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit bank fraud in 2016.
Prior to this, the 34-year-old was known for his bizarre antics, such as an unusual interaction with an animal in 2023.
In November of that year, he shared a video on Instagram in which he could be seen biting the end of the food before placing it in the mouth of a bear, whose tongue came into contact with the rapper’s lips.
“Would you like to try this?” he captioned the post. “This is the bear that broke @albuqaish.jungle [who seems to be the person running the zoo] Lamborghini door. “
Many fans wondered about the mouth-to-mouth feeding, with one commenting: “Yeah it’s so weird my boy tongue locking with a bear,” while another wrote: “Why doesn’t he wipe his bottom lip off. “
One user even suggested that the “Uver” rapper is doing whatever it takes to stand out, saying: “He’s trying to do anything to be popular.”
