Baby Tate says she is preparing to file a lawsuit against an Atlanta cocktail bar where she was allegedly assaulted by a male security guard over the weekend.
A night out with “Hey Mickey!” According to Tate, the artist became emotional on Sunday night (September 1) when she and her companions were harassed by guards for no apparent reason and eventually became violent Very bad.
“Just went to El Malo and was frantically harassed and attacked by a security guard,” she wrote on X later that night. “Like, it’s crazy. This big-ass man just threw me on the fucking ground after I didn’t actually do anything to him.
“He spent the whole night pressuring my party, harassing them, and then pushing me onto the fucking concrete and I didn’t do anything to him except ask him why he was talking crazy to me. It was literally File a lawsuit. Nothing funny.
When a fan suggested calling the police, Tate explained: “They told me there was nothing they could do because I left the place where it happened, and I left because not only was I attacked, but the perpetrator came there.” Left the hotel and continued to harass us, I needed to leave to feel safe.

On the music front, Baby Tate recently addressed critics who accuse her of copying the likes of Nicki Minaj and Lil Kim.
Tate clarified during a jam session with On The Radar in April that she was inspired by the two legendary rappers, among others.
“Wait, bitch I got blown/I just got up on the internet and they said I was a clone/Now I was born in 1996/So of course that’s some of the stuff I do/They say I blink like Nicki , dress like Kimmy / be crazy like Missy on the track / be cocky like RiRi, be rough like EVE / But I don’t understand why n-ggas won’t let me be myself!
Later on the track, she paid tribute to the many women who came before her, including her mother, Arrested Development’s Dionne Farris. She also drew attention to the fact that she was only being compared to other black women in rap, not to other artists like white women or black men.
“It’s not my concern anymore / As I wait patiently for my turn at the door / So I’ll keep the door open for those who come after / And I want to thank those who came before / Again, Nicki, Kim, Missy, RiRi, Eve, Dionne, Lauryn, Left Eye, Kelis/unfortunately because I’m black, that’s all they see!
“But if I’m not, then what would the comparison be? / Ha, Madonna, Gaga, Gwen Stefani / ‘Cause I’m a woman, they don’t see Kendrick in me / They can’t hear Ye, they hear Less than “can’t see P/like if you’re going to do it, do it equally!” “
