Duane “Keefe D” Davis has been in jail for several months for his alleged role in 2Pac’s murder. He is currently trying to be released to await trial at home, but prosecutors are blocking it. Most recently, they opposed his bail motion, citing an alleged conversation he had with authorities in 2009.
During the conversation, Keef D reportedly told detectives that Diddy allegedly offered him $1 million to kill the icon. He also claimed that after 2Pac died, he contacted Diddy to try to get the money. He claims it never worked out for him. Prosecutors believed this was evidence Keefe D was willing to consider accepting money in exchange for murder. So, they said, it would be better for everyone if he stayed in prison.
Law enforcement doesn’t believe Keefe D’s story

Recently, however, law enforcement sources spoke to TMZ and confirmed that Diddy was never a suspect in the 2Pac murder investigation. This seems to indicate that they believe Keefe D’s claims are baseless. This seems to be good news for Didi. Keefe D, on the other hand, is still waiting for a judge to rule on his bail request.
