Hanumankind is one of the surprising success stories of 2024. It peaked at number 5 on the hip-hop charts and number 23 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song features equally impassioned verses from the likes of Hanu Human and Kalmi, but Rocky comes out and skates in a predictably smooth manner.
ASAP Rocky kicks things off with “Big Dawgs (Remix).” The superstar rapper trumpets his success and his superiority over his musical peers. “Member, I’m young and broke,” Rocky raps. “All our clothes have holes in them, like honeycombs. More enemies than mommy drives…junkies in the corner store. Baking soda by the stove.” Hanumankind appears in the second verse, the song’s An unexpected pleasure was hearing him and ASAP Rocky swap bars back and forth. The rappers show surprising chemistry in the song. It’s safe to say that this remix will bring even more attention to the star single.
