If there is a rapper who refuses to pack it, it may be André 3000. The Atlanta hip-hop legend is still nearby and playing football, casually winning the best rap champion of the day, and this time decided to do something different.
Not long ago, André 3000 dropped an album and became a Flautist. Now he makes things higher with his latest EP, 7 piano sketches, all seven tracks being piano instruments.
Each track begins with a sound that announces the title and number of the track – this is the only time you hear the André3000 sound. After the announcement is released, he will jump directly into piano works that represent different mentalities.

Some are absolutely ridiculous, such as the title “When you are an ant, you wake up in awesome mood and are about to take your son to school, just discovering you left lights in the car last night in order to drain the battery” – by the way, it’s really the full title. Some are more emotional, such as the song called “I Wait for the Night All Day.” Nomenclature is his recent tendency toward the entire sentence as a track title, the same thing he did on his previous album New Blue Sun.
One thing seems clear, though, that in recent years André is someone who is having fun with different crafts, not trying to please the crowd. The result is artistic expressions like EP. To promote the album, André also appeared at Met Gala with a piano attachment, similar to his EP cover art sketch. Check out the EP below!
