The album was destined to be a hit, setting the tone for Knxwledge’s directorial debut, Daydreaming, which stylized Anderson Paak and his surroundings with GTA imagery. world. Additionally, there’s the very enjoyable “86Sentra,” with its unconventional snare and drum patterns that are soulful, funky, and RnB. The album clearly delivers on the promise painted by the hype very well and transports the listener into the world outside and inside.
It has to be said that this artwork is also a bold move. A monochromatic mountain with two goats in the center, the pair certainly lived up to the statement made. Going head-to-head (like goats), the two only amplify each other’s strengths. This sustained high is present throughout the project, breaking down into relaxing melodies and Anderson Paak’s unique voice.
Speaking of uniqueness, the feature lineup is equally bold. The album starts off with a Dave Chapelle feature, only to find Thundercat waiting for you on track 4. Before diving into the project, check out the tracklist and features below!
