This is the third EP from Ohio horrorcore trio Alla Xul Elu. Consisting of Billy Obey along with Joey Black and Lee Carver, they emerged as a duo in 2015, releasing their first two albums, Head of Horns & Sci-Co”. They followed up with their 4/20-themed debut EP Necronomichron in 2017, and were soon joined by Carver, but it wasn’t until Twiztid signed them to Majik Ninja Entertainment in 2018 that the Xul Boys’ music became more and more good. Their MNE debut album The Almighty was easily the greatest horrorcore album of the 2010s, and their 2019 second EP Church of Xul took an even darker approach, with Mauxuleum making my list of the best releases of 2020 ’s top 10, even though they ditched their signature boom bap sound for a more industrial, trap metal direction, Necronomichr 2: Dead by Bong is an excellent follow-up to their 4/20 EP. However, before Camp Xul 4 weekend, they’ll get the party started and open the doors to the Magic Xul Bus.
The title track is a dirty bap opener that kicks off the EP, with all 3 members trading mics with each other, taking the Xuligans on a journey to The Magic Xul Bus itself, while “Smoke Stop” has more of a kick Legs and rhythm. “Fucked Up” goes in an electronic trap direction, admitting they were getting too wild at the party, until “Buried Alive” closes the EP with piano, kick and snare.
有傳言稱,由Mike E. Clark 製作的Xul 即將發行的專輯《Gods of Evil Rise》將是三人組在MNE 發行的最後一張專輯,希望我們能在AX 活動結束時得到關於該專輯的官方更新information. The Lost Lake Estates partnership project. In just 12 minutes, they’re back to their horrorcore/boom bap style, occasionally expanding their sound beyond trap.
