TMZ caught up with Edwards on Wednesday (May 29) to ask if he and Scott had resolved their issues.
“It’s all good,” Edwards replied, joking about the fight. “He didn’t have to work that night,” he said of his bodyguard. “But shout out to Southside, that’s my n####. I know he was just protecting his kids and doing what he was supposed to do as a kid.
Edwards said there were “no hard feelings” between them, adding, “That’s just the way it is, that’s how it happened.”
He also insisted: “I don’t want to fight. I wouldn’t initiate something like this,” and claimed he was defending himself. “I’m a guy who protects myself and my people.” After the game, Edwards didn’t say anything to Scott, saying, “There’s no message. They got the message.
Edwards described the altercation as “at the end of the day, n##### is n#####” and “it’s a healthy fade, that’s all.”
The fight reportedly started after party host Richie Akiva shouted out Tyga and Edwards at the event and Travis Scott grabbed the microphone started. Tyga is Kylie Jenner’s ex-boyfriend and the mother of Travis Scott’s child.
“Travis was the aggressor,” a source told Page Six. “He and his team are neurotic, erratic, crazy. Frankly speaking, he wants to fight anyone.
