Roc Nation extends deal with NFL
Hov’s Roc Nation and the NFL have had a five-year partnership, with the music mogul’s company serving as the league’s live music entertainment strategist since 2019. The agreement has been extended.
“It’s a mutually positive relationship,” NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said of the league’s relationship with Roc Nation and its CEO Desiree Perez at the NFL owners meeting in Atlanta on Tuesday.
“I’m not sure any of us actually spent a lot of time talking about contracts,” Goodell added. “Jay is happy. Desiree Perez is happy. I’m happy, so we’re all good.”
According to ESPN, the first deal between the NFL and Roc Nations was worth $25 million over five years. In addition to planning the Super Bowl, Roc Nation assists the league’s social justice initiative Inspire Change, which has provided $375 million in grants.
XXL has reached out to Roc Nation and the NFL for comment.
