According to G-Unit rapper Eminem has threatened to quit the Super Bowl LVI halftime show if 50 Cent doesn’t appear. 50 Cent told The Hollywood Reporter that Roc Nation was opposed to his participation in the star-studded event.

“They wanted to exclude me,” he noted. “They didn’t want me there.”
Roc Nation partners with the NFL to produce the Super Bowl halftime show. Jay-Z’s company booked Dr. Dre, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige and Snoop Dogg to perform at the 2022 Super Bowl in California. Not announced.
“Eminem wouldn’t be doing this without me,” 50 Cent said. “That’s how I ended up on the show, because if I didn’t do it he wouldn’t have come. When that happens, you’re like, ‘Damn, so you lost it because you didn’t bring 50. Em? Damn. Okay. But if it’s up to them, they won’t let me be there. I’m not on the bill at all. Do.
50 Cent won an Emmy for his performance at the Super Bowl LVI halftime show. The victory did little to quell his dissatisfaction with the Television Academy, which never nominated his show “Power” or any of its spin-offs for an award.
“It doesn’t make sense,” he told The Hollywood Reporter . “The easiest way to point this out to the public is just the truth. If you don’t want to acknowledge it when this show is clearly number one among African-American families, you don’t want to acknowledge African-Americans and Latinos. It’s a Choice. I don’t know if that’s okay, but it’s a choice.
50 Cent is gearing up to host the inaugural Humor and Harmony Festival in Shreveport, Louisiana, from August 8-11. Shreveport is the new home of G-Unit Studios.
