New 50 Cent music? That’s right.
The rap mogul dropped an unexpected song today called “Fightland,” which serves as the theme song for the upcoming boxing drama of the same name. The song sounds like something out of the early 2000s, with three rappers each singing a verse and Jeremih providing backing vocals.
“Fightland” is an upcoming TV series from Starz set in the British boxing world and executive produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson. As reported two months ago, Howard Charles, Nicholas Pinnock, Deborah Ayolinde, Charles Babalola, Anita-Joy Uwaj, Tahirah Sharif, Taylor Conti and Richard Pepple were part of the cast.
According to the official description, Fighting Ground tells the story of a “disgraced, formerly incarcerated boxing champion who returns to London to exact revenge on the crime family he believes betrayed him.”
