50 Cent and Rick Ross clash on social media
On Saturday (May 25), 50 Cent took to Instagram to criticize Rick Ross for his controversial lyrics in Rocko’s 2013 single “UOENO.”
At the time, the rap veteran was facing backlash for his questionable lyrics. Ross eventually apologized for his verse. In 2013, he wrote on Twitter: “I do not condone rape. Apologize for the #lyric that was interpreted as rape.” In an interview with New Orleans radio station Q93.3, the Miami boss clarified that he does not condone rape Rape of any kind.
“You know, I would never use the word rape in my lyrics. As far as my camp goes, hip-hop doesn’t condone it, the streets don’t condone it, no one condones it.”
Fast forward on IG, and 50 posted a photo (which can be viewed below) showing a caricature of R. Kelly with a faded image of Diddy and Jeffrey Epstein in the background. This photo is accompanied by Ross’s “UOENO” verse
Fif captioned the post: “You know sometimes I think people are stupid why do you say that in a song? I drugged her and I knocked her ass and she didn’t Know!
Ross got wind of his IG post and responded to the post about 50 on The Neighborhood Talk blog post.
“This is a lyric in which Daphne Joy accuses/that you sodomized and raped her when you held her down in front of your son. [palm on face emoji] Curtis [spooked face emoji] @50cent,” he typed in the comments section, which can be viewed below.

Ex-girlfriend Daphne Joy, 50, made serious sexual abuse allegations against him
Rick Ross’ response was referring to Daphne Joy, the mother of 50 Cent’s son Sire, who claimed that Fif allegedly raped and sexually abused her during their past relationship.
Back in March, Daphne published a lengthy post responding to the 50s-era joke about Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones’ lawsuit accusing her of being a sex worker for Diddy.
“Everything was a joke to you until our safety was compromised, which is happening now,” she wrote in a post tagged 50 Cent. “You are bringing real life to people’s lives. The destruction, the madness, the chaos. How would you feel if His Majesty was the one in handcuffs? We moved to New York to give you the opportunity to be a father to your son, and you saw him both. Ten times during the year we lived a mile away from you.
“I’m tired of maintaining and protecting the image of our son that you never earned. Let’s put the real focus on the true evil of your rape and physical abuse of me,” she continued. “You are no longer my oppressor and from now on my God will deal with you. These last and final false accusations you have made against me permanently damage my last hope as a father in you to protect our family. You Already breaking our hearts for the last and final time.
50 Cent has since filed a defamation lawsuit against Daphne Joy, asking her to withdraw her Instagram post. The New York Rhythm is also seeking more than $1 million in damages, claiming the false accusations could harm his business association.
