4batz, Boosie BadAzz, Rome Streetz and more – new hip-hop projects

Surprisingly, it’s been a big week for hip-hop. In addition to Kendrick Lamar’s long-awaited diss track for Drake, there are a few equally anticipated projects. This week, a mysterious R&B singer finally arrives, a rap veteran takes on the blues, a Brooklyn-based rhymer launches another street project, and more.

4batz Drops Debut EP U Let me be st4r

In “Act 1: stickerz”, “Act 2: date @ 8” and “Act 3: on god?” His debut EP, U made I am st4r. The 10-song EP, released through Gamma, includes several of his previously released songs, as well as a remix with Ye, “Act Three: God? (She Likes It).” In April, 4batz was spotted hanging out with Ye in the studio. Surprisingly, Drake’s remix of “Second Act” didn’t appear on the project. While little is known about the Texas artist, “U made me a st4r” officially announces the arrival of the soft-spoken singer and may put to rest some speculation in the industry.

Boosie Badazz vs. Blues on Boosie Blues

Boosie Badazz returns on Monday (April 29) with his latest album, Boosie Blues . The 13-track project includes tracks like the Down South-flavored “Country Side” and the emotional anthem “Playin’ With My Emotions,” which also features performances from Pokey Bear, Roi “Chip” Anothony and numerous others. This new album is Boosie’s second album released in 2024, following the “In House 2: Boosie and the Beast” project released on February 9. Never Give Up tour.

Rome Streetz releases Buck 50 EP

New York rapper and Griselda signee Rome Streetz returns with his latest EP Buck 50. . Streetz concluded his “Noise Kandy” series with “Noise Kandy 5” last September, and has since released new releases featuring appearances from Joey Bada$$, Curren$y, Boldy James and more.
